Sprint Aviation obtained Transport Canada approved maintenance organization 21-16 and FAA approval under 14CFR43.17 on component maintenance for Breathing equipment (fixed and portable), Fire protection and detection (fixed and portable) and Safety components (life preservers, life rafts, slide/rafts)
Transport Canada and FAA approvals provides Sprint Aviation with the ability to serve the North American market through bilateral agreements between concerned governments.
EASA approval 145.7298 allows the company to reach operators and maintainers in 32 member states as well as 93 other countries worldwide having an airworthiness cooperation agreement with the organization.
Last but not least, Sprint Aviation is registered by Transport Canada (Dangerous Goods directorate) to perform hydrostatic testing using the water jacket or proof pressure method. These activities are identified using the registered mark 699. This privilege allows the company to requalify cylinders such as aviator oxygen cylinders, fire extinguishers, slide deployment reservoirs and other pressure vessels. All these tests are performed in accordance with CSA Standard B339-08 and relevant CGA publications C-1, C-5, C-6, C-6.1, C-6.2 and/or C-8.
